El nom prové de Leporello, el servent de Don Juan a l’òpera de Mozart Don Giovanni, qui presumeix de les seves conquestes en aquest tipus de quadern.

“Leporello” is a book folded in accordion form. It is named for Leporello, the servant of Don Juan in Mozart’s opera, Don Giovanni, who displays his maters conquest in such book.
